Donna Reichl, the creator of Best Dog For Life, has over 28 years of experience training dogs of all breeds and issues. Her innovative techniques for training dogs are positive and effective. 

Donna is passionate about educating dog owners on how their own behavior has a direct impact on their dog’s emotional and behavioral issues.  The positive transformation of each dog and owner is a fulfilling challenge for Donna.

MISSION

Donna Reichl has always felt a special connection to dogs, and is passionate about transforming “bad” dogs with emotional and behavioral issues to be confident, respectful and obedient Best Friends.

Her Mission is to educate and coach dog owners on how to confidently lead their own dogs in order to build trust and restore peace in the relationship between humans and the dogs they dearly love.

EXPERIENCE

Donna Reichl’s passion for training dogs began at the age of 18 with a black lab puppy named Jordan. Soon she added a Doberman named Jackson and a Mini Schnauzer named Vic to her “pack.”

Over the last 28 years, she has owned and trained dogs of various breeds, training each to be a confident, friendly and obedient dog.

Donna began training dogs professionally when a distraught neighbor asked for help with an out-of-control Australian Shepherd named Koa. With Donna’s training techniques, Koa’s extreme emotional and behavioral issues were were rapidly transformed.

Word began to spread around Donna’s hometown of Clermont, Florida, that Donna was a “Dog Whisperer” and scores of desperate dog owners began seeking her help.

Since then, Donna has successfully trained and rehabilitated a multitude of dogs of various breeds, ages and behavioral issues. The dogs seem to be miraculously transformed by her leadership and training techniques.

The key is that Donna not only trains the dog- she also educates the owner on how their behavior has a direct impact on its emotional and behavioral issues.  With a few simple changes on the part of the owner, the dog’s behavior improves rapidly.

For Donna, the training of each dog is a unique and exciting challenge. She finds great joy in transforming the dog’s emotional and behavioral issues while simultaneously restoring peace, order, and a sense of control to the owner’s home and life.
